The basic idea is I want to run two instances of one game where Windows would normally say "That game is already running!" or would just not allow me to divide input between the two games. Would there be a way for me to set up a second instance in ASTER and access that either: Through a laptop on my network, or through a remote desktop "window" on my main monitor? Hey! I've never heard of ASTER before, and it sounds like it might be the exact solution I've been looking for for a long time.

There's a subreddit for this but there's seemingly even a way to do it on Windows VM Hosts with windows 10 The second cleanest way I can imagine (that involves though a second GPU in your machine) is using GPU Passthrough to a VM. My GPU couldn't do two games at once though at the time, but I could have him play something on a separate set of monitor, mouse and kb while I still did something else on the same PC! I did this in the past when a friend came over (and we only had one PC). You could also feasibly (GPU needs to be good enough) play another game on your own session at the same time. Then the other person will be fully separate from your session and have their own session to play on. The cleanest way I can imagine this to work is by getting ASTER to make your computer a multiseat-computer, then using another monitor (or a fake monitor dongle) to simulate a screen ASTER can put the second terminal on and running parsec on this terminal.
